Requirements

  • Proven ability to drive sales results through proactive prospecting, relationship-building, and solution-based selling.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • High level of organization and time management, with the ability to prioritize revenue-generating activities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong sense of accountability.
  • Minimum of 1+ year of hotel sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Hyatt systems (Opera, Envision, PrO) and Microsoft Office a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by actively prospecting, developing, and closing new business while maximizing room night production and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, local businesses, and community organizations to increase hotel visibility and repeat business.
  • Execute strategic sales efforts including outside sales calls, networking, telemarketing, and community engagement to generate new leads and referrals.
  • Negotiate room rates, contracts, and group business using yield management principles to optimize profitability and align with hotel sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, organized sales systems, including account management, reporting, and follow-up to ensure exceptional client service and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams to support overall sales strategy, quarterly action plans, and revenue goals.
  • Represent the hotel with professionalism and integrity, delivering a service-focused approach that enhances guest satisfaction and brand reputation.
