About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Manager to support sales efforts for both Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley/Zoo and Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Hotel Circle/SeaWorld Area. This role is responsible for driving group, catering, and business transient revenue while building strong partnerships with corporate, local, extended-stay, and community-based accounts across both properties. The ideal candidate is a polished hospitality sales professional with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to successfully solicit, negotiate, close, and detail business in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-property hotel environment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of hotel sales experience in group rooms, catering, and/or business transient segments.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, close, and detail business successfully.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, multi-property hotel environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel sales system experience preferred, including Delphi, Opera, OnQ, Salesforce, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive group, catering, and business transient revenue for both Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley/Zoo and Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Hotel Circle/SeaWorld Area.
  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and contract new and repeat business with a focus on corporate, local, extended-stay, and community-based accounts.
  • Manage assigned accounts while prospecting new opportunities through calls, site visits, networking, and community engagement.
  • Develop strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business across both hotels.
  • Create, detail, and manage contracts, Banquet Event Orders, and event resumes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate and timely information in hotel sales systems and related property systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Revenue, Sales, and hotel leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Attend and lead sales, BEO, and resume meetings as required.
  • Conduct post-event and post-stay follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and identify future sales opportunities.
  • Support hotel-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.
