About The Position

Carrier is seeking a self-directed and results-oriented Selling Sales Manager to drive HVAC sales and margins across the Guam market through a sales team and personal sales. This role involves maintaining key accounts as a direct salesperson and driving performance and accountability across the sales team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing innovative and creative solutions for customers and is driven to succeed in one of Carrier's most profitable markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of Sales experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with sales of Applied HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools
  • Experience selling to the Consulting Engineering and Owner community
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills and customer focus
  • Ability to direct, supervise and manage field operations to achieve effective and efficient performance
  • Consistent track record of setting and exceeding performance objectives, strong leadership, communication skills, coaching abilities

Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive strategies for achieving annual sales and margin growth targets for Carrier HVAC applied equipment.
  • Manage a team of sales engineers in the Guam office.
  • Establish and maintain key accounts as the primary sales contact.
  • Expand customer base to ensure growth and strong presence across the market.
  • Achieve office and personal sales and margin growth targets.
  • Engage with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and owners to generate applied HVAC equipment sales.
  • Establish new accounts and grow the volume and profitability of existing accounts.
  • Provide planning, pricing, territory management, and sales activity reports on a regular basis.
  • Execute Carrier's branded programs, product introductions and strategies.
  • Manage the relationship with the Light Commercial product distribution channels.
  • Manage the interface between Carrier factories, field organization and customers.
  • Attract, retain, develop, and lead a small team of outside and inside Sales Engineers.
  • Mentor early-career Sales Trainees, provide sales and safety training.
