About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our North American Agentic Workspace Sales team. This is a player-coach role where you will guide a team of four specialized sellers focused on driving revenue through professional services and consulting engagements for Google's cutting-edge AI solutions, including Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise. You will be responsible for the overall performance of your team, including managing a robust sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasting, and ensuring pristine opportunity management within our CRM. A key part of your role will be to cultivate a strong, collaborative relationship with Google's sales leadership to align on strategy, drive joint sales motions, and accelerate deal closures.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management or team lead role.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record of selling professional services, consulting, or enterprise software, preferably in the cloud or AI space.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Sales Acumen: Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Partnership & Alliance Management: Experience working effectively with partners and building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior leaders both internally and externally.

  • Experience with Google Cloud, Google Workspace, or other SaaS productivity solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales specialists to achieve and exceed their sales targets. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Take full ownership of the team's sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts to leadership.
  • Opportunity Management: Ensure all sales opportunities are meticulously documented and managed in our CRM system, guaranteeing data accuracy for reliable reporting and forecasting.
  • Strategic Google Alliance: Act as the primary point of contact for Google sales leadership. Collaborate on opportunity inclusion, strategic deal management, and joint go-to-market initiatives to maximize revenue.
  • Sales Execution: Guide your team in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Provide hands-on support in customer meetings, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Implement strategies to optimize sales processes and team performance.
