Day-to-day tasks include overseeing a team of sales people and supporting our customers. Mercedes-Benz of Oakland is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team in Oakland, CA. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving revenue targets in a luxury automotive environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive sales manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes and luxury vehicle market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with dealership and brand objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the sales process, from initial customer contact through to closing and follow-up.
  • Train and mentor sales staff to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance departments to optimize sales opportunities and customer experiences.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
