About The Position

Fitness Connection is seeking a driven and high-performing Sales Manager to lead from the front, setting the tone for sales culture and performance within the club. This is a hands-on, full-time role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments. The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving personal sales goals while motivating and developing a team of Fitness Consultants to exceed theirs. This role offers a pathway to Club Manager through the Manager in Training (MIT) program.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of successful sales leadership experience.
  • Full-cycle sales experience.
  • Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed personal sales goals.
  • Player-coach mindset: ability to develop a team while staying sharp in personal skillset.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Discipline and data-driven approach to tracking progress and guiding decisions.
  • Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Passion for fitness and belief in the company's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with personal sales goals and consistently exceed them.
  • Coach and develop a team of Fitness Consultants through daily check-ins, skill building, and accountability.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including touring guests, following up on leads, closing memberships, and converting prospects.
  • Recruit and onboard talent who are competitive, coachable, and passionate about fitness.
  • Break down team and individual goals into daily action plans with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Plan and execute sales events, community outreach, and referral drives.
  • Ensure operational excellence in front desk experience, lead tracking, proshop retail sales, and club appearance.
  • Use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies.
  • Partner with the Club Manager on strategy, people decisions, and club performance.
