About The Position

Responsible for market shares for Crown and other key product lines, financial performance, and the day-to-day activities of each branch's territory sales function. This role involves planning, conducting, and participating in sales meetings, designing and implementing sales strategies and programs, and coordinating activities among other managers to ensure proper communication. The Sales Manager will review and approve sales-related functions, maintain direct contact with current and prospective Branch and National Accounts customers, and offer support and oversight to the sales group. Additionally, the role includes assisting staff in making customer calls, aiding in daily time, territory, and account management, and recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and counseling direct reports. A key responsibility is preparing budgets for branch managers and reviewing accounts receivables to ensure timely payment for products.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years material handling industry experience, preferably with product sales background
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
