About The Position

Fitness Connection is seeking a driven and high-performing Sales Manager to lead from the front, setting the tone for sales culture and performance within their club. This is a hands-on, full-time role requiring a leader who can consistently achieve personal sales goals while motivating and developing a team of Fitness Consultants to exceed theirs. The Sales Manager is responsible for owning the sales cycle, from engaging guests and closing memberships to recruiting talent and executing sales events. This position offers a pathway to Club Manager through a Manager in Training (MIT) program and is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and are passionate about fitness and leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of successful sales leadership experience.
  • Full-cycle sales experience.
  • Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed personal sales goals.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to give clear direction, hold people accountable, and lift the team.
  • Disciplined and data-driven approach to tracking progress and guiding decisions.
  • Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Belief in the company's mission and fitness advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with personal sales goals and consistently exceed them.
  • Coach and develop a team of Fitness Consultants to high performance through daily check-ins, skill building, and accountability.
  • Own the full sales cycle: tour guests, follow up on leads, close memberships, and convert prospects into members.
  • Recruit and onboard talent who are competitive, coachable, and passionate about fitness.
  • Break down team and individual goals into daily action plans with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Plan and execute sales events, community outreach, and referral drives to increase traffic and awareness.
  • Ensure operational excellence in front desk experience, lead tracking, proshop retail sales, and club appearance.
  • Use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and adjust strategy in real-time.
  • Partner with the Club Manager to align on strategy, people decisions, and club performance goals.
