About The Position

The Sales Manager leads the Jacksonville market, a team of 12 sellers serving a portfolio that includes mature enterprise relationships and meaningful opportunity for customer reactivation, new logo acquisition, and services-led growth. The role is accountable for building a disciplined market strategy, strengthening executive-level customer engagement, and developing sellers who can create pipeline, expand existing relationships, and position TEKsystems for continued growth across staffing and services. As the local market leader, the Sales Manager owns sales execution, talent development, hiring, operating discipline, and culture. Success requires close partnership with vertical, divisional, Global Services, National, and Strategic teams to align local execution with enterprise priorities across Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail/Manufacturing, and State and Local Government. Core mandate: lead the Jacksonville market through services-led expansion, customer reactivation, new logo creation, and disciplined seller development.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build and execute a local market plan that drives staffing growth, services expansion, customer reactivation, and new logo creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to position TGS offerings, identify managed services and outcome-based opportunities, and coach sellers on services-oriented discovery.
  • Ability to engage senior customer stakeholders, build trust, and support business cases for complex customer solutions.
  • Strong ability to assess, coach, and develop sellers across a broad range of experience levels and performance needs.
  • Proven ability to create a high-performance environment grounded in ownership, accountability, followership, and people development.
  • Demonstrated success in business-development-heavy markets where pipeline must be built through persistence, relationship reactivation, and consistent prospecting.
  • Ability to work effectively across local, divisional, national, strategic, and Global Services partners to align priorities and accelerate outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable execution.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Successful track record in technology talent delivery, staffing, sales leadership, and/or services-led growth.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and aligning employees across roles, functions, and business priorities to execute organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a local market strategy that balances staffing growth, services expansion, customer reactivation, and new logo acquisition.
  • Deepen and protect existing enterprise relationships while building disciplined pursuit plans for dormant and net-new customer opportunities.
  • Expand TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) offerings by coaching Account Managers to lead services-oriented discovery and identify managed services and outcome-based opportunities.
  • Increase executive-level access by helping sellers elevate conversations from manager/director contacts to VP- and C-suite buyers.
  • Build market readiness in Retail/Manufacturing and State and Local Government so the team is positioned to capture opportunity as customer spending returns.
  • Establish clear activity, qualification, discovery, and conversion expectations across the sales lifecycle.
  • Improve pipeline velocity by identifying stalled opportunities, strengthening early-stage qualification, and reinforcing consistent follow-through.
  • Coach sellers to move beyond transactional activity by uncovering customer spend, competitive dynamics, buyer priorities, and TEKsystems differentiators.
  • Strengthen AM/Recruiter partnership through defined roles, shared expectations, and consistent territory execution plans.
  • Use performance data, market insight, and operating mechanisms to drive accountability and adjust execution as needed.
  • Partner with Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail/Manufacturing, State and Local Government, TGS, divisional, national, and strategic leaders to coordinate go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager peers across Florida to align sales talent, market coverage, and strategic priorities where appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms aligned to the Annual Operating Plan, organizational goals, and core values.
  • Manage resources effectively to support customer outcomes, delivery partnership, market growth, and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate priorities clearly and consistently so the local team understands strategy, expectations, and measures of success.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and Sales Development Representatives with clarity, accountability, and a high standard of performance.
  • Adapt coaching and development approaches to support sellers at different career stages, from early-career SDRs to tenured SAMs expanding into services and executive selling.
  • Own hiring discipline and achieve hiring targets aligned to the Annual Operating Plan, including building seller coverage in priority growth areas.
  • Assess, develop, and retain emerging talent, with particular focus on the SDR pipeline as a future source of sellers and leaders.
  • Build a sustainable leadership bench by identifying and developing internal candidates for future leadership opportunities.
  • Create and sustain a culture rooted in integrity, accountability, competitiveness, collaboration, and genuine commitment to helping people grow.
