About The Position

Ventrata is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its expansion into the Resort & Integrated Property vertical. This role involves selling software that manages the entire guest stay experience for resorts, connecting "fun" to the "folio." The position is remote and based in North America, requiring the candidate to be in the target region's office hours and travel for customer visits and conferences. Ventrata is a fast-growing, scale-up company in the leisure and tourism industry, offering cutting-edge products to maximize revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in a related revenue-generating role within the ticketing or travel-tech industry.
  • Preferably within the Resort and Leisure segment.
  • Firsthand experience solving the pain points unique to large-scale resort properties.
  • A strong awareness of hotel and resort operations, as well as Property Management and Connectivity applications.
  • Can demonstrate a history of achieving quotas of $600k+ selling into enterprise markets within the travel/ticketing industry, with a focus on the enterprise resort and leisure segment.
  • Native English speaker or at least 5 years selling in native English-speaking markets (C1 as a minimum).
  • Must reside within the continental US or Canada.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to potential client sites and trade shows.
  • Current passport and able to travel internationally infrequently.
  • Sales account planning skills and the patience to deliver against the plan.
  • Display creative and analytical problem-solving skills with an unrelenting passion for achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their time and pipeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish a plus, not a requirement.
  • SaaS-related and industry sales experience preferred.
  • Direct experience working within attractions in a sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of net new business and client wins.
  • Deliver against business targets and objectives.
  • Management of the sales process end-to-end in your assigned territory.
  • Identifying opportunities in the market to position the product effectively and enhance the value proposition to your target market.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Ensuring that client success is integrated into the sales process from the first point of contact.
  • Liaise with marketing, technical resources, and sales operations to ensure a unified and strategic sales approach.
  • Analyse regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities.
  • Communicate closely with marketing and product management to create strategies to drive sales.
  • Provide timely revenue projections to management and deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy.
