Sales Manager (SaaS)

Beefree
$165,000 - $185,000Remote

About The Position

Beefree is seeking a Sales Manager to transform its sales motion into a repeatable, well-coached, and well-instrumented revenue system. The role will primarily focus on Beefree SDK, a strategic sales-led business involving technical, consultative sales into SaaS and other companies. This position requires strong discovery, multi-threaded account management, and the ability to build trust around long-term product and business impact, as the SDK is embedded in customer products. The ideal candidate will lead by example, stay close to the work, and be directly involved in strategic opportunities and complex deals to improve sales processes and team performance. This is a hybrid role, combining direct business growth with building coaching, standards, and operating rhythms for the team.

Requirements

  • A seller who has transitioned into leadership but continues to actively sell.
  • Recent track record of personally closing technical, developer-led, or PLG deals.
  • SaaS sales leadership experience, preferably in martech, developer tools, or technical SaaS.
  • Proficiency with CRM data, funnel metrics, and pipeline analysis, using data for decision-making.
  • Experience as a coach who develops judgment in others, not just script-followers.
  • Capability in remote leadership, demonstrating clarity, energy, and accountability in a distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills across calls, demos, executive conversations, and webinars.
  • Fluent understanding of PLG (Product-Led Growth) principles and experience partnering to build sales-assist motions.
  • Genuine curiosity about the jobs Beefree's products accomplish and a passion for the company's mission.
  • Experience selling to technical buyers is a plus.
  • Comfort with technical concepts such as APIs, embedded software, production vs. staging environments, Model Context Protocol, and agentic UX.

  • Make the sales motion more repeatable and scalable across the entire opportunity lifecycle.
  • Run a clear operating rhythm for pipeline management, forecasting, and deal reviews, ensuring efficiency without over-complication.
  • Build a strong partnership with Product and Marketing to refine buyer narratives, enhance campaign handoffs, and ensure shared visibility into pipeline health.
  • Lead through direct involvement, staying close to customers, prospects, and active deals to understand their challenges, competitive landscape, and Beefree's value proposition.

  • Raise the quality of the team's execution through direct exposure to customer interactions and deal processes.
  • Create clarity on best practices through practical standards, simple processes, useful playbooks, and consistent coaching.
  • Collaborate with Product, Ops, and Marketing to identify and prioritize high-intent accounts.
  • Utilize CRM data, pipeline reviews, win/loss signals, and customer feedback to guide focus, identify areas for improvement, and discontinue ineffective practices.
  • Ensure sales narratives, enablement materials, case studies, and customer feedback loops accurately reflect buyer priorities through close collaboration with Marketing and Product.
  • Implement discipline in planning, forecasting, pipeline quality, and budget allocation while maintaining an agile team environment.
