This position is responsible for ensuring the maximum level of retail sales penetration and market share growth of JCB OEM Powertrain components.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years outside sales experience
  • BA/BS in Business or similar
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and business development
  • Proven success in analyzing and forecasting trends
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening
  • Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other similar CRM tools
  • Understand and implement basic selling skills
  • Knowledge of dealer distribution network model and operations
  • Ability to problem solve quickly, Sense of urgency for answers
  • Self-starter with good analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer service oriented as to assist in maintaining relationships with JCB
  • Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening
  • Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
  • Willingness to travel as required (50%)

Responsibilities

  • Exceeds annual sales targets and increases market share
  • Participates in the development of annual Business Plan Proposals with Customers
  • Develops excellent product and application knowledge of JCB components and competitor products
  • Effectively communicates and works cross-functionally within Sales/Applications/Marketing/Service and Business planning
  • Submits weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual production forecasts to assure production levels accurately reflect opportunity within the territory
  • Continually monitors market trends as it relates to current products, new product development and market opportunities within the Territory
  • Manages and submits weekly T&E Expenses within budget and guidelines established by JCB
  • Responsibly maintain company-owned assets which might include vehicles, equipment and computers
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned
