About The Position

Gartner, a global market leader in research and advisory, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-bearing associates to drive revenue. This role is crucial for contributing to Gartner's double-digit growth, supported by a premier sales organization. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving financial targets, developing and executing sales strategies, attracting and retaining top talent, driving high activity through team prospecting, ensuring C-level relationship development, and providing leadership through effective communication of global strategy. The position also involves regular coaching and development of direct reports, taking ownership of personal professional growth, and supporting the team's growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-15 years shown consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware)
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate sales associates
  • Strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen, handling others

Nice To Haves

  • Internal candidates should have a demonstrated track record of successful financial performance, with 2+ years of QB sales experience in Gartner MA or Gartner management experience.
