About The Position

CFIB is seeking an energetic, ambitious, and driven individual for a Sales Manager in Training role. This position is ideal for a rising star in sales who is ready to advance their career. The role involves a hands-on sales position with structured leadership training and mentoring from experienced managers. The goal is to develop relationships with SMB owners, understand their challenges, provide tailored solutions, drive new business development, and grow a territory with entrepreneurial ownership. The trainee will master sales strategies, tools, and technology in preparation for becoming a future Sales Manager.

Requirements

1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
Approachable, outgoing, and able to build strong relationships with clients.
Motivated by purpose, eager to help small business owners, and thrive in dynamic environments.
Open to feedback, love learning, and take initiative to grow skills.
Comfortable with CRMs, iPads, digital presentations, and using tech to optimize the sales process.
Driven and goal-oriented, with a desire to win independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Access to a vehicle.
Ready to be on the move in your territory.
