About The Position

ProTech Mechanical, a Crete United company , is growing in South Texas, and we’re looking for a proven Sales Manager to lead our commercial HVAC and MEP sales efforts in Corpus Christi and the surrounding regions. We’re seeking a confident, hands-on sales leader with strong growth mindset. This role is ideal for a sales leader who knows construction, understands HVAC/MEP systems, and thrives on building high-performing teams while driving revenue and margin growth. You’ll work closely with operations and estimating, own the sales strategy, and play a key role in shaping ProTech’s next phase of growth. What You’ll Do As Sales Manager, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and leadership of the sales function:

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership within HVAC or MEP
  • Proven success in commercial project sales and negotiations
  • Experience managing multi-site or regional sales efforts
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, MEP environments, and equipment (chillers, boilers, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and team-building capability
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker who can execute tactically
  • Organized, disciplined, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working independently and making sound business decisions
  • Proficient with CRM tools, reporting, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Sales Department
  • Develop and execute local and regional sales strategies
  • Forecast sales performance and report progress against targets
  • Coordinate and review multiple estimates and bids simultaneously
  • Partner with Operations to select projects to pursue and win
  • Oversee bid activity, CRM/Salesforce reporting, and sales metrics
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain sales talent (2–5 direct reports)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Owners, GCs, Consultants, Subs, and Suppliers
  • Drive new construction, system upgrades, retrofits, and service sales (PMs, maintenance agreements, T&M)
  • Support project handoff from sales to construction or service teams
  • Collaborate with estimating on bid strategy at both project and regional levels
  • Support succession planning, training, and long-term team development
