About The Position

As a Call Center Sales Manager, you will hire and train a team of sales representatives, monitor their progress, and coach them to success. You will be a part of a winning culture and fun atmosphere that supports creativity and growth. The Call Center Sales Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a large outbound tele sales team. The Sales Manager will be involved in planning, strategy and execution to drive profitable results for the business in partnership with senior leadership. The Sales manager will be required to drive a winning, employee focused culture and address any customer queries and complaints as needed. The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting and driving results against daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. You should have excellent communication skills, business acumen and the ability to maintain long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1-3 Years direct sales leadership preferred
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a call center setting preferred
  • Demonstrable analytical, leadership, problem solving, and customer service skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • High strategy mind
  • Must be comfortable working with leads
  • Good sense of organization and keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices and desire to participate in trainings and professional development
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless policies and procedures
  • Able to work as part of a dynamic team
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor a must

Responsibilities

  • Handle day to day operations of the department
  • Lead a team of 4-5 Assistant Managers and their 50+ sales representatives.
  • Assist with Hiring, Timesheets and Scheduling, and team members annual reviews
  • Demonstrate a high standard of ethics, integrity and personal accountability at all times.
  • Oversee daily operations of the team
  • Maintains staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Setting department goals and plans for individual and team performance
  • Ensure that the work area is secured and consumer information is protected at all times
  • Pull reports and listen to calls for quality control
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety & wellness protocols
  • Manage daily duties to provide time for other tasks that may arise
  • Work closely with the call center leadership team to ensure full team potential is met
  • Maintain a working relationship with all internal partners
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless policies and procedures
  • Responsible for reporting to upper-level management on the health of the department
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
