About The Position

The Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for carrying out assignments handed down by the General Sales Manager or Sales Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized and accessible lot for customers, which includes proactively addressing hazardous conditions like snow or ice and promptly removing debris. The attendant will also be responsible for taking pictures of cars for internet resale and performing vehicle "swaps" or deliveries to other dealerships.

Requirements

Valid Driver license
High School Diploma
Able to follow multi-step directions and maintain a high level of attention to detail
Act as an advocate for teammates
Possesses effective communication skills: oral, listening.
Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.

Responsibilities

Ensure that new & used vehicles displayed on the lot are arranged in a neat, attractive manner.
Fill any “holes” in the lot arrangement with another retail unit.
Regularly rotate used car line positions to give an appearance of freshness to inventory.
Advise management of any necessary mechanical or reconditioning work.
Run errands related to the sale of vehicles, including trips to DMV (VT or out of state), emissions, gas station, and other dealerships.
Dust all vehicles on the showroom floor on a daily basis.
Maintain upkeep of the exterior of the property, including picking up trash.
Assist in snow removal as needed, which requires shoveling, sanding, cleaning off and moving vehicles, and assisting with plowing.
Perform miscellaneous jobs within the dealership as directed by management, which may include errands, washing vehicles, janitorial duties, and other tasks.
Coordinate and communicate with sales, service, detail & management staff to ensure prompt scheduling for vehicle inventory photography.
Take pictures of cars for internet resale purposes.
Go on “swaps” or car deliveries to other dealers.
