About The Position

The Lot Attendant is responsible for organizing, arranging and merchandising our new and used car inventory. In addition, the lot attendant is responsible for the stock in process and helping manage inventories. A good driving record is necessary as transporting vehicles to other locations may be required. As a sales lot attendant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of our team members and customers every day. We are looking for strong, energetic, people-focused sales lot attendant who will help us redefine the car-buying experience. The Sales Valet/Porter is responsible for managing the dealership lot which includes: cleanup, movement, organization and display of vehicle inventory, tagging the vehicles with disclaimers and tagging vehicle keys. The ideal candidate is proactive, detailed oriented and can function in a high-paced work environment.

  • Ability to work outdoors and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Valid drivers license
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)

Responsibilities

  • Organizing, arranging and merchandising new and used car inventory
  • Stock in process and helping manage inventories
  • Transporting vehicles to other locations
  • Managing the dealership lot
  • Cleanup, movement, organization and display of vehicle inventory
  • Tagging vehicles with disclaimers and tagging vehicle keys
  • Maintaining and organizing the vehicle inventory
  • Receiving and verifying inbound vehicles against invoice when applicable
  • Cataloging and inputting keys into the Key Track system
  • Ensuring all vehicles have fuel, required stickers/buyers guide and are in good condition
  • Inspecting vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice/addendum
  • Ensuring inventory is cleaned, presentable, and properly displaying disclaimers and vehicle information
  • Moving and delivering vehicles when instructed
