About The Position

We are currently seeking a Sales Lot Attendant/Car Washer to join our growing team. We offer a clean and safe work environment where quality and teamwork are valued. This hands-on position includes washing and preparing vehicles, maintaining an organized dealership lot, moving vehicles as needed, and ensuring all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customers according to dealership standards. Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage ranging from the applicable minimum wage to $22.00/hr.

Clean driving record and valid CA drivers license.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery
Restore using appropriate materials
Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior and exterior windows
Apply special-purpose cleaner to remove foreign materials
Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices
Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment
Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand & body protection
Report any safety issues immediately to management
Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean & presentable conditions at all times
Retrieve the client's vehicle as notified by Management
Inspect each vehicle to be delivered for lot damage that may have occurred during or before delivery
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Clean driveways and sidewalks
Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
Make key tags for vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
