About The Position

United Road Logistics, LLC is seeking a Sales Logistics Analyst to analyze customer, lane, and market performance, focusing on revenue, cost, and margin trends within finished vehicle logistics operations. The role involves evaluating remarketed transportation performance to uncover optimization opportunities, developing KPI dashboards, and translating logistics data into actionable business recommendations. This position requires collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Pricing teams to align strategies with logistics execution and profitability goals. The analyst will also support accounting processes, provide senior leadership with forward-looking insights, and understand the end-to-end lifecycle of vehicle movement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accountancy, Finance, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in the related field.
  • Transportation or logistics experience.
  • Experience in finished vehicle logistics.
  • Experience in the remarketed transportation segment.
  • Knowledge of customer performance drivers.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Tableau.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting.
  • Experience with cost analysis.
  • Experience with margin optimizations.
  • Ability to influence revenue.
  • Ability to interpret performance data.
  • Understanding of connecting financial outcomes to logistics execution.
  • Ability to enhance cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer, lane, and market performance, focusing on revenue, cost, and margin trends within finished vehicle logistics operations.
  • Evaluate remarketed transportation performance including auction, dealer, and retail movement data to uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and performance scorecards using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to track profitability, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
  • Translate logistics data into actionable business recommendations that improve customer outcomes and enhance financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Pricing to ensure strategies align with logistics execution and profitability goals.
  • Support accounting processes such as variance analysis, reconciliations, and commission validation related to logistics sales performance.
  • Provide senior leadership with forward-looking insights that inform network strategy, pricing actions, and capacity planning.
  • Understand the end-to-end lifecycle of vehicle movement, connecting sales, logistics, and delivery outcomes.
  • Interpret operational data to identify revenue leakage, dwell time inefficiencies, and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Support remarketed vehicle operations where speed, precision, and pricing discipline directly impact resale value.
  • Leverage performance insights to guide leadership on optimizing network flow, improving service levels, and achieving strategic business goals.
