Bannister Chevrolet Penticton is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join their growing team. They are a busy, high-performing dealership with a strong inventory, an experienced leadership team, and a workplace culture built around teamwork, accountability, and customer service. They offer training, tools, and support for both experienced automotive sales professionals and those looking to start a new career.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a VSA sales licence
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive, retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
  • A willingness to learn, accept coaching and continually improve
  • Competitive, customer-focused and ready to be rewarded for performance

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and help identify their vehicle needs, lifestyle and budget
  • Present new and pre-owned vehicles and explain key features and benefits
  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
  • Create videos, photos and social media content to generate leads and promote inventory
  • Follow up with customers by phone, email, text and social media
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers before, during and after the sale
  • Complete manufacturer training and continually improve your product knowledge
  • Work closely with the sales and finance teams to provide an exceptional buying experience
  • Complete required documentation accurately and professionally
  • Consistently work toward individual and dealership performance goals
