About The Position

RH Contract is seeking a Sales Leader to cultivate meaningful client relationships, drive revenue growth, and expand project opportunities across North America and beyond. As a Sales Leader, you will understand the customer ecosystem and bring people and ideas together to deliver extraordinary results. You will work cross-functionally with Business Development, Project Management, Design, Sourcing, and Logistics teams to develop tailored solutions that meet our client’s unique needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic, high-performing sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional value at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience in design, development, or related industries, including hospitality, commercial, or residential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or a degree in Interior Design with applicable industry experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business results
  • Deep understanding of the project lifecycle, from design development through procurement and final delivery
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and solutions-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Comfortable operating in a field-based role with frequent client-facing interactions and regular travel
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; confident engaging with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, removing obstacles, and guiding clients toward actionable outcomes.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation platforms such as PowerPoint or Keynote

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and margin growth by executing a solution-based strategy aligned with RH Contract’s goals, leveraging relationships, insights, and cross-functional capabilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across your customer base to expand opportunities and deepen engagement
  • Actively engage in the field, meeting with clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering an elevated RH Contract experience through every interaction
  • Collaborate across North American and International Business Development teams, Project Leaders, RH Gallery and Trade teams to “connect the dots” across customer and project ecosystems
  • Qualify and manage incoming leads, self-generated, client-directed, or sourced through RH channels, into executable and profitable project opportunities
  • Deliver compelling, tailored presentations that communicate RH Contract’s value proposition, design-forward offerings, and end-to-end capabilities
  • Align customer and project needs with RH’s operational strengths, driving clarity, speed, and efficiency from proposal through delivery
  • Partner with Project, Sourcing, and Logistics teams to ensure projects are executed seamlessly, on time, and in alignment with client expectations
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
  • Participate in industry events to enhance visibility and grow your network
