About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, operating retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as online and through its mobile app.

The Retail Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, assists with training associates, and helps deliver a great in-store shopping experience. The role supports store management in developing associates, executing daily operations, managing merchandise flow and coverage, and maintaining customer service and visual presentation standards. The position is at the Gonzales Outlets store.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and supervisors.
• Demonstrated sales accountability.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and training to support efficient floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Train associates on store operations, products, policies, and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results.
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
• Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
• Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, and omnichannel operations.
• Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule, placing the right associate in the right place at the right time.
• Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.
• Resolve customer service issues effectively and positively.
• Lead and model the customer experience model.
• Maintain expert knowledge of products, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, and signage placement.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
