About The Position

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead represents the business and helps ensure a positive journey for every patient and customer. The role requires knowledge of optics, products and services, and managed vision care. The Sales Lead guides patients and customers through their experience, helping meet their eyewear needs in a simple, human, and bold way. This is a part-time position paying $15–$16.93 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of optical experience with Visionworks or another organization, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.

Nice To Haves

• Related customer or patient experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring strong execution of the customer/patient experience journey.
• Engage with patients and customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients and customers for eyewear and maintain optical and product knowledge through ongoing training and development to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Carry out daily operational activities supporting store financial and customer experience goals, including restocking inventory, merchandising, and fulfilling eyewear orders for shipment.
