About The Position

J.Jill is hiring a part-time Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and supporting the team. The role focuses on creating meaningful customer connections and delivering an exceptional, authentic shopping experience while contributing to a fun and inclusive store culture. The Sales Lead helps develop team members, supports store performance and operations, and fosters community engagement. The posting offers a $500 sign-on bonus after six months of employment; the bonus is subject to applicable taxes and continued employment through the six-month anniversary.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Model strong customer relationships through genuine interactions and support community engagement initiatives.
• Assist with training and developing team members by leading by example and providing coaching and support.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs, offering personalized styling recommendations, and contributing to sales targets.
• Maintain knowledge of J.Jill products to help customers make purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations, including opening and closing, serving as manager on duty, visual merchandising, floor sets, inventory management, and following company policies.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and support leadership in maintaining a meaningful customer experience.
• Adjust communication for different settings and audiences across organizational levels.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
