About The Position

Our Key Holders provide an exceptional experience for every Brilliant Earth customer. As a Key Holder, you will guide the customer through the life of the sale through our engaging sales platforms, as well as provide mentorship and guidance to teammates. These team members assist our customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line. By meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, this team creates personalized experiences while sharing the happiest moments of our customers' lives. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. This role is in-person at our San Antonio, TX showroom.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of demonstrated high-achieving performance in a sales-based retail position (luxury and/or omni-channel experience, preferred)
  • Experience managing people in retail or direct to consumer sales, store leadership or keyholder experience a plus
  • Dedicated desire to coach and mentor to set teammates up for success and continuously improve team performance
  • A true passion for helping people and creating positive customer service experiences
  • Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes
  • Motivated self-starter with high efficiency work style, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • Exceptional time management skills and accountability
  • Team player with an ability to work collaboratively to achieve business goals
  • Robust CRM software experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit / self-starter
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers to purchase via in-person and virtual appointments, creating memorable and personalized experiences for each customer.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to attain individual and team goals and revenue targets.
  • Proactively respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chats and phone calls while focusing on a luxury customer experience, reflective of our high-quality product.
  • Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance.
  • Utilize sales strategies and forward-thinking problem-solving techniques to assist and guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions, such as ring settings selections and diamond options.
  • Develop and demonstrate product knowledge as it pertains to our diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
  • Use our ERP system to manage your tasks and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Act as a brand advocate, sharing our mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
  • Travel to support other showroom locations.
  • Support onboarding new Jewelry Consultants through shadowing daily activities, as well provide support for continuing education.
  • Participate in mentorship and training programs, providing dedicated support and guidance to new and existing Jewelry Consultants.
  • Act as Assistant Manager on site, as needed, including but not limited to: assigning appointments, scheduling and sales dashboard oversight, and escalation management.
