About The Position

The Everlight Solar EntrepreneurX Internship is designed for individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations and a drive to achieve significant goals. This program focuses on teaching fundamental skills necessary to launch a business idea. Over four months, interns will collaborate with leading sales professionals, utilizing innovative pedagogical methods that blend real-world sales experience with rigorous academic learning. The curriculum includes daily meetings, filmed feedback sessions, and weekly reviews covering marketing, business, psychology, neuroscience, and social sciences, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Interns will gain exposure to the clean energy industry, state programs, and federal initiatives. This paid internship is a temporary assignment lasting 12 to 16 weeks, offering students the chance to achieve critical learning outcomes while working alongside the sales team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled within a relevant accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Minimum of one or more years of coursework towards a Bachelor Degree in relevant program.
  • Proficient with iOS and mobile software programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability of memorizing and comprehension of industry-critical information.
  • Self-Starter and flexibility to work varied hours.
  • Ability to locate for the extent of the internship.
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
  • Authorized to work in the US and background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong problem-solving skills via shadowing top company reps and actively attending company training sessions.
  • Acquire key interpersonal (soft) skills such as effective non-verbal and para-verbal communication, negotiation, closing the sale, and overcoming customer objections.
  • Understand business practices such as market analysis, KPI reporting, technology trends and interpreting gathered data to make informed business decisions.
  • Create a network of industry professionals not only to serve as mentors but also to develop opportunities for continuing in the workforce post-graduation.
  • Participate in company book reviews, practice mental discipline, and strive to perform better tomorrow than today.
