About The Position

Our AYF Sales Internship gives you real-world experience and the confidence to thrive. You’ll shadow sales reps during customer visits, create quotes and proposals, assist with inventory checks, and help maintain CRM records while following up with leads. This is a paid internship employment at a sponsoring store while attending college. It includes a structured training course designed to prepare you for a successful career in equipment sales, with potential for full-time employment upon graduation. RDO Equipment Co. in Pasco belongs to our Northwest Agriculture division which is made up of 10 stores across Washington and Oregon. The team members in Pasco support farmers in this area as they plant, tend and harvest the crops that feed the nation. This is a forward-looking customer base that defaults toward innovation.

Requirements

  • Tech-savvy approach: Be comfortable using a CRM platform, computers, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Shadow sales reps during customer visits
  • Create quotes and proposals
  • Assist with inventory checks
  • Help maintain CRM records while following up with leads
  • Explore dealership operations by rotating through departments to understand daily workflows and the value of teamwork
  • Build sales skills including relationship development, product knowledge, inventory management, and navigating company systems and processes
  • Participate in customer interactions, team meetings, and company-sponsored training while representing RDO professionally
  • Maintain a professional image, following safety protocols, and supporting a positive team environment
