About The Position

This is a full-time, in-person internship opportunity for the Summer of 2027. The program is designed to provide interns with valuable learning experiences in sales, including networking, applying sales knowledge, utilizing sales cycles for prospecting, developing CRM skills, and building a foundation for a career in sales. Interns will participate in daily activities such as training sessions, prospecting, lead generation using CRM and other software, client-facing calls, and assisting Account Managers. The program also includes team-building events and weekly internship activities. Metrics for the internship include making 40-60 cold calls per day, having 5 meaningful conversations per day, and scheduling/completing 1 conference call per day. The internship requires the candidate to be studying toward a degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field, possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, resilience for cold-calling, and a strong work ethic. The position is located at the Denver office, with a mandatory two-week training period in Cleveland at the beginning of June.

Requirements

  • Studying toward a degree in Sales, Business Administration, or other related field
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Skin thick enough to make cold-calls (and keep going after rejection)
  • Strong Work Ethic (We’re talking stronger than all your friends)
  • Must be able to fly to Cleveland for 2 full weeks in the beginning of June for training.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly training topics such as sales methodology, mock call sessions, skills training & various other topics
  • Engage and build rapport through prospecting techniques to potential new customers
  • Utilize CRM and additional software to generate leads for Account Managers
  • Conduct research and continuously prospect for lead generation
  • Coordinate and participate in client-facing conference calls
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Assist Account Managers and other sales staff; effectively communicate with team-members
  • Join in team building events such as shoot for loot & various other contests
  • Participate in weekly internship activities and assignments
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
