About The Position

As a trainer, you will be responsible for the complete management of the training offering for financial security advisors and directors of our career networks. You will be involved in all stages: needs analysis, strategy development, training design, and delivery. You will actively contribute to the development of the sales force's expertise, particularly in personal insurance, financial services, and sales approaches adapted to Quebec's public sector clientele. As a true strategic partner, you will play a key role in supporting teams, driving sales growth, and retaining advisors. You will also ensure a compliance supervision role to maintain the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Experience as a financial security advisor and valid license required
  • Other required licenses: Representative in collective savings and Branch Manager (possibility of obtaining them within 6 months of hiring)
  • Solid understanding of the 360 approach to client needs
  • Occasional travel required throughout the province

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training adapted to advisors (beginners and experienced)
  • Transmit sales, prospecting, and client development techniques
  • Train on a comprehensive approach to financial needs: life insurance, critical illness, disability, retirement, and savings
  • Share best practices from the field, particularly in personal insurance
  • Analyze needs expressed by advisors and directors
  • Develop training plans and recommend appropriate pedagogical strategies (in-person, webinar, e-learning)
  • Design and develop pedagogical material (guides, tools, supports)
  • Ensure the logistics of training activities
  • Implement learning assessments and post-training follow-ups
  • Adapt and update content according to evolving needs
  • Plan the annual calendar (webinars, events, onboarding, professional development)
  • Define agendas and content
  • Collaborate with internal and external speakers
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of training offered
  • Support candidates in preparing for their licensing exams
  • Accompany advisors in: preparing their files, CRM-driven development initiatives, operational questions
  • Supervise and approve collective savings transactions (branch manager role)
  • Follow up with advisors in case of non-compliance with risk profiles
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements
  • Approve retirement plans for advisors serving public sector executives (RRAS)
  • Travel to financial centers as needed
