About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking a Sales Floor Associate responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience. This role involves engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, accurately processes transactions, and promotes credit and loyalty programs. The associate maintains merchandising standards, processes merchandise for the sales floor, and participates in store recovery and maintenance. They also provide and accept feedback, adhere to labor laws and policies, and support shrink reduction and safety goals. Other duties may be assigned.

Retail customer experience preferred.

Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned.
