About The Position

This part-time position is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well-stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion. The Associate will interact with customers, providing assistance and answering product questions. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and restrooms, merchandising products according to company standards, and rotating or pulling old or unsold products. The role also involves identifying and pulling product for E-Commerce, adhering to all retail center policies and procedures, and following safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Cross-training in other departments and additional responsibilities as required may also be part of the role.

Requirements

Open availability is required.
Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
Must have attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
Ability to use basic technologies to be able to follow company standards.
Ability to use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Ability to see color and use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

Bring processed clothing to the Sales Floor and interact with Customers providing assistance.
Ensure the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
Be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness of sales floor and restrooms.
Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
Act as an ambassador of pricing according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away product(s) from racks, carts, or baskets, and putting away returned or unwanted items.
Ensure sales floor areas are properly merchandised to standard (categorized, colorized, sized).
Make decisions to flex product to improve customer shopping experience and increase sales.
Assist production by communicating targeted needs for the floor to the manager on duty.
Provide excellent customer service by adhering to the 10-foot rule and answering product questions.
Rotate or pull old or unsold product(s) in a timely manner from the sales floor.
Responsible for E-Commerce product identification and pulling from sales floor.
Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
Follow all safety processes and procedures.
Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
