About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking a part-time Sales Floor Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, accurately handles customer transactions, and promotes credit and loyalty programs. The associate will maintain merchandising standards, process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and participate in store recovery and maintenance. They will also provide and accept feedback, adhere to labor laws and policies, and support shrink reduction and safety goals.

Requirements

Possesses excellent customer service skills
Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Capable of multi-tasking
Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
Participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
