Sales Executive, Commercial Real Estate Agent
About The Position
Marcus & Millichap, a premier commercial real estate brokerage firm, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Sales Executives. With a national platform and a focus on investment sales, financing, research, and advisory services, the firm offers a unique opportunity for individuals with sales experience to build their own business in commercial real estate. No prior commercial real estate background is required, as comprehensive training, mentorship, and AI/technology tools are provided to support success. Agents will represent buyers and sellers, guide deals from inception to closing, and develop a personal book of business.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of building relationships
- Motivated, driven, and ready to build something of your own
- Coachable and open to training in a new industry
- A strong communicator who can open doors and earn trust
- Real estate license in the state where you will work (not required for the initial interview)
Responsibilities
- Developing new business through outreach, cold calls, and relationship building
- Prospecting and researching market data and industry trends
- Attending networking and industry events
- Advising clients on real estate investment strategies
- Presenting marketing proposals and negotiating listings
