About The Position

Axle Funding is an independent automotive floorplan company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with a presence in 28 markets nationwide. We partner with independent dealers to help them grow through reliable inventory financing, strong local relationships, and hands-on market support. The Sales Executive is a field-based, territory-focused role responsible for developing new dealer relationships and strategically expanding Axle Funding’s presence within a growing North Dallas territory. Sales Executives spend the majority of their time in the field visiting dealers and attending auto auctions, with limited remote work for administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel daily within assigned territory
  • Must be or willing to become a state-licensed Notary
  • Must currently reside within commuting distance of the North Dallas market

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a portfolio of dealer relationships across a broad, developing territory
  • Establish and strengthen long-term partnerships through consistent, relationship-focused engagement
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, referrals, and market expansion
  • Present and sell Axle Funding’s floorplan financing products and services
  • Maintain a consistent in-market presence through dealer visits and auction participation
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective dealers and guide them through the sales process
  • Coordinate dealer onboarding with internal teams to ensure a smooth activation experience
  • Document dealer activity and opportunities in CRM
  • Become a trusted partner within the local automotive community
