About The Position

We are now looking for our collaboration partner a highly motivated, responsible and experienced SALES EXECUTIVE. The Sales Executive will support the commercial activities of the Chandlery Division by handling client enquiries, preparing quotations and maintaining strong relationships with ship agents, vessels, shipyards and maritime operators. The role will focus on identifying sales opportunities, managing customer requirements and coordinating with the operations team to ensure efficient and timely supply of marine products and consumables. The position will report directly to the Business Development Manager – Chandlery Division and will play an important role in expanding the division’s client base and supporting revenue growth. Our partner has experience of almost 40 years in marine industry. Their onsite energy department specializes in cutting-edge energy solutions, including Diesel Gensets, Gas (CHP/CCHP) systems, Microgrids and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, customer service or commercial support roles.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Sales negotiation and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM or inventory systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma or certification in business, marine services, logistics or related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in marine supply, ship chandlery, logistics or technical supply sectors will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client enquiries and prepare quotations for chandlery supplies.
  • Process sales orders and coordinate order fulfilment with the warehouse team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with ship agents, vessel operators and maritime clients.
  • Follow up on quotations and enquiries to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
  • Provide product advice and technical guidance where possible.
  • Liaise with clients to understand vessel requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure orders are handled efficiently and delivered within required timeframes.
  • Assist visiting clients with product selection and procurement requirements.
  • Prepare delivery notes, packing lists and sales documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics and storekeeping teams to ensure timely delivery to vessels and shipyards.
  • Assist in arranging urgent deliveries to vessels in port when required.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in daily sales activities.
  • Maintain updated product catalogues and price lists.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the maritime and offshore sectors.
  • Maintain organised records of quotations, orders and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards.
