About The Position

Cuckoo Electronics America is a South Korean manufacturing cooperation which was established in 1978. With over 40 years of experience manufacturing premium pressure rice cookers, Cuckoo has become the No. 1 pressure cooker brand and is also recognized as one of the top brands for water purifiers in South Korea. Cuckoo Electronics America, established in 2016, is one of the fastest-growing branches of the company. Since entering the U.S. market, it has experienced steady growth and is now actively expanding its water purifier (POU)business. Cuckoo is well-positioned to lead innovation and build a strong presence in the U.S. market.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience, ideally in water purifier market (POU) or home appliance industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Ability to work independently and meet goals.
  • Ability to multi-task, staying organized in a result-driven and fast-moving environment.
  • Solid team player with outstanding integrity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at relevant Water purifier (POU) companies (Strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan for entering the water purifier market in the US.
  • Manage the company’s water purifier authorized dealer business (POU) in the US.
  • Conduct 50% inside sales (phone calls, communication) and 50% outside sales (on-site meetings).
  • Analyze and keep updated on market trends and competitor landscape.
  • Ability to build and develop offline/ online distribution business.
  • Track sales and providing monthly reports to management.
  • Develop strategies to optimize profitability for each account.
  • Travel to business meetings, seminars, exhibitions, trade shows and customer sites as required.
  • Participate in developing water purifier tailored to the US market.
  • Develop and maintain a new network of qualified authorized dealers for the newly launched water purifier business.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events, and industry conferences.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams
