About The Position
We have an opportunity available in a highly energized, collaborative environment for someone with strong technical knowledge to take on the role of Sales Engineer. This position involves planning, pricing, selling and customer service where heat, wear and corrosion resistant metal alloys are used. Our well-established onboarding program and excellent training plans allow you to learn the business, will lead to daily success, and provide a broad knowledgebase for future growth opportunities within the company.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, materials technology, or business and/or experience in the metals manufacturing industry
- 3-5 years sales experience in a foundry, machining or other metals manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of related markets, applications, product design
- Excellent understanding of foundry and fabrication techniques is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Project management experience
- Strong technical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- Will consider training a recent college graduate with a technical degree
