Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management
  • 3+ years of HVAC Engineering related experience
  • Outgoing personality with experience in sales and working with customers
  • Ability to effectively interface with sales, contractors and engineers is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn our ERP program
  • Capable of working independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapid pace work environment.
  • Ability to understand and apply business considerations to project support.
  • Ability to travel domestically
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English

Nice To Haves

  • Technical understanding and experience with HVAC technologies is considered ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to grow products sales to non-traditional customers at Stan Weaver
  • Serve as lead contact for all applied sales opportunities
  • Perform in estimator capacity
  • Coordinate with customer salesperson on projects with applied equipment and provide support through submittals
  • Serve as main liaison for applied products through installation, start-up, and service
  • Travel to factory with customers
  • Support engineering sales team in driving applied products Basis of Design
  • Provide applied equipment selections for engineers
  • Participate in Lunch and Learns, office visits and other educational efforts
  • Coordinate manufacturer visits
  • Serve as the primary contact with Applied Equipment factories on updates, issues, factory visits and events
  • Work with marketing to coordinate and set up events and marketing campaigns
  • Travel to factory with engineers
  • Review applied product scope, price products, and add scope to quotation in FACTS
  • Coordinate with Estimating Manager, Estimators, and Bid Coordinators on estimating opportunities
  • Participate in bid meetings and coordinate with sales on how to bid the project in market
  • Performs other duties as assigned
