About The Position

The Sales Engineer serves as a vital link between the technical capabilities of the company and the needs of its customers. By leveraging technical expertise and sales acumen, the Sales Engineer drives business growth by identifying customer requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of Cirris custom equipment. This role is instrumental in fostering strong client relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company’s reputation as a leader in the electrical manufacturing industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proven track record in sales or engineering roles, preferably in the electrical manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in wire harness systems, electrical equipment, and related technologies.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical thinking to address customer challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and other engineering software.
  • Precision in understanding client requirements and ensuring product quality.
  • Regularly lift 35 pounds and use of hand and wrists when typing information on keyboard.
  • Must be able to twist, reach overhead, crawl, stoop and bend to the floor.
  • Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to read written materials and instructions to communicate with co-workers and customers.
  • Must be able to make and receive phone calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in sales, electrical systems, or wire harness technology are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Explain product features and benefits to potential customers through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Assist the sales team in closing deals by providing technical insights and addressing customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to modify products to meet specific customer requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide strategic insights.
  • Help clients troubleshoot and resolve issues with product usage.
