Gilat DataPath, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer supporting the Business Development team. Primary functions include all levels of Pre-Sales engineering support and opportunity analysis. The candidate must be able to support the sales/capture team during each level of proposal stages, including receipt of a customer’s request through the final submittal of the proposal including a working knowledge of financial metrics. The candidate has to be capable of gathering customer requirements, shaping customer requirements, performing analysis for all systems aspects and able to analyze link performance to optimize antenna apertures and define RF subsystem requirements in order to develop a winning solution. Additionally, candidate must be able to provide technical expertise and Technical Volume proposal content on large proposal efforts. This position will be customer-facing and the successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills.
