The Sales Organization is responsible for selling S&C products, services, and solutions across a broad customer base including customer-owned and investor-owned electric utilities, commercial & industrial (C&I) customers, government agencies, distributors, contractors, consultants, and original-equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its objectives include generating revenue, expanding market share, and driving business growth. The Sales Engineer provides sales support to Senior Territory Sales professionals throughout the sales cycle, assisting with forecasting and account planning administration, order management, and providing sales collateral. This individual builds foundational product, market, and customer knowledge to specify, apply, market, and sell S&C's product portfolio and services to customers in the defined territory. The role involves collaborating with professional engineers and other customer representatives to provide sales engineering support, identifying and implementing solutions that meet customer needs. The Sales Engineer role serves as a stepping stone into the Territory Sales career path, with relocation likely required for progression.
