About The Position

Voith Paper is seeking a motivated intern for its growing Spare Parts & Services segment in Appleton, Wisconsin. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role involving work across Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Application, and Service, as well as direct customer engagement. The intern will take ownership of tasks, contribute ideas and solutions, and support projects with tangible value for the business and customers. The position offers experience in a fast-paced, international environment and opportunities to develop technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering program.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Basic knowledge of technical drawings and CAD software.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving orientation, and organizational skills.
• Curiosity, motivation, and a strong willingness to learn.
• Proactive mindset and openness to proposing new ideas.
• Proficient in using computers and Windows programs.
• Ability to learn and use the SAP operating system.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or academic project experience in machinery, manufacturing, or services.

Responsibilities

• Identify spare parts from assemblies, technical drawings, and reports.
• Assist in creating and updating 2D and 3D part drawings using CAD software.
• Contribute to quality reviews and problem-solving discussions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Purchasing teams to ensure accurate parts definition.
• Help prepare spare parts lists and technical recommendations for maintenance activities.
• Support customer-focused projects under supervision.
