About The Position

Terrific is hiring a Sales Engineer / Commerce Integrations Lead to connect its social-commerce platform with the wider commerce ecosystem and build systems that make integrations faster and more repeatable. The role spans technical discovery, integration development, customer launch support, commercial opportunities, and internal process improvement. It works across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success and involves collaborating with customers and teammates in Latin America, Europe, Israel, and the United States. The position covers integrations with major ecommerce platforms, custom and headless commerce environments, and native mobile applications, as well as potential connections to marketing, customer-support, analytics, automation, and commerce-management tools. The person will investigate merchant technology stacks, assess feasibility, recommend solutions, build and improve integrations, support customers from agreement through launch, and help shape marketplace presence and the integration roadmap. Terrific describes itself as AI-native and encourages using AI to accelerate research, build and test scripts, automate integration tasks, create internal tools and agents, improve documentation, monitor integrations, and make technical answers more accessible. This is a remote, full-time independent-contractor engagement for a candidate based in Latin America or a compatible EMEA time zone. The job description lists a start date of September 2026.

Requirements

  • At least three years of hands-on development or technical integration experience.
  • Production experience with at least two major ecommerce platforms; the Required section also specifies production experience with ecommerce platforms, APIs, or merchant technology.
  • Experience working with APIs, product feeds, webhooks, authentication, carts, or checkout flows.
  • Ability to read unfamiliar code, write working scripts, and debug browser or network behavior.
  • Experience working directly with customers, merchants, or external technical teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Good judgment about effort, risk, and commercial value.
  • Comfort working independently within a distributed, international team.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Based in Latin America—preferably Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia—or within a compatible EMEA time zone.
  • Available for a full-time independent-contractor engagement and able to work remotely with teammates and customers across global time zones.
  • Deep experience in at least one of Terrific’s commercial pillars—eCommerce, Marketing, or Media—and enough fluency across the other two to contribute credibly from day one.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; English is the primary business language for interviews, documentation, and regular internal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with live shopping, social commerce, video commerce, marketplace apps, or large international retailers.
  • French language skills for EMEA accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate merchant websites, applications, and commerce stacks.
  • Understand how product catalogs, variants, carts, and checkout flows work.
  • Assess technical feasibility for active commercial opportunities.

  • Help merchants move from signed agreement to their first live Terrific experience.
  • Work directly with customer engineers and internal commercial teams.
  • Support technical discovery, proposals, security reviews, and proofs of concept.
  • Improve the reliability of product feeds, event tracking, cart actions, and embeds.
  • Publish and maintain Terrific apps across relevant commerce marketplaces.
  • Build tools, scripts, automations, and AI agents to make integration work faster.
  • Turn recurring customer friction into clear Product and Engineering priorities.
  • Create documentation and processes to support future customers and teammates.
  • Use AI to accelerate research and discovery, generate and test scripts, automate repetitive tasks, build internal tools, improve documentation, monitor integrations, and help non-technical teams access technical answers.
  • Build a clear picture of Terrific’s integration landscape and take ownership of live customer integration work.
  • Create a repeatable approach to technical discovery and feasibility and reduce the time from signed agreement to customer launch.
  • Improve collaboration among Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Move new platform integrations into production and help define future marketplace and partner integrations.
  • Introduce automations and AI-powered workflows and create a roadmap for Terrific’s integration ecosystem.
