About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Sales Enablement Specialist is to support sales, customer experience and marketing programs to ensure a smooth sales process and customer experience for the customer and Ascent Global Logistics. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Sales Governance.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in sales, sales operations, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or operations preferred.
  • Prior experience with CRM’s, creating reports, developing dashboards, auditing activity, and managing users
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large sets of data, specific skills include Powerpivot, VBA, Powerquery.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute the CRM and Sales Data Audit process to set standards.
  • Perform data enrichment research and maintain appropriate data within the CRM.
  • Manage report requests to support sales representatives and sales leadership.
  • Consolidate and analyze sales data to support system integrity, process and performance.
  • Manage, test and implement CRM updates, changes, and enhancements.
  • Maintain dashboards, reports and KPI data within the CRM.
  • Work with sales team to resolve data integrity issues in support of CRM hygiene.
  • Provide reporting to Sales regarding lost business, new opportunities/pipeline, account onboarding, etc.
  • Manage sales account assignments and territory coverage model.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the sales organization in relation to systems and processes used within the sales cycle.
  • Conduct CRM system and process training.
  • Assist with the development of education and training content to establish core sales fundamentals for new and existing sales team members.
  • Assist with key projects and initiatives that drive overall sales growth.
  • Work with marketing on administration and management of campaigns and associated data.
  • Works closely with Client Transition and Integration (CTI) on account alignment and data needs.
  • Partner with Marketing to support sales communications, sales updates, newsletters, etc.
