The Opportunity We are hiring our first Sales Enablement individual to help shape the future of our go-to-market motion. This role will partner closely with our VP of Sales to build and execute enablement programs that empower our Sales team to perform at their best, from onboarding and training to process optimization and content strategy. As Canopy's first dedicated Sales Enablement hire, you'll have a rare opportunity to lay the foundation for our enablement strategy, create scalable frameworks, and drive measurable impact across our growing Sales organization. This is a hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience developing and executing scalable enablement programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional design skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities-comfortable working with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams.
  • Self-starter who thrives in building new processes and initiatives from the ground up.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own Canopy's first Sales Enablement strategy and roadmap in partnership with the VP of Sales.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs to improve sales productivity and performance.
  • Create, manage, and maintain sales playbooks, process documentation, and enablement content.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging, materials, and buyer journey alignment.
  • Identify skill gaps across the Sales team and design targeted training or resources to close them.
  • Implement tools, systems, and best practices that drive efficiency, consistency, and data-driven sales execution.
  • Measure and report on enablement program effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and outcomes.
