About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to help us invest and grow the TOLA Region, taking responsibility for driving Cloudflare's revenue and brand awareness. Based in the region, this role requires both strategic and hands-on leadership to navigate a modern, automated corporate landscape, build out the go-to-market strategy, and scale our sales team, market structure, and partner strategy. In this role, you will actively collaborate with clients, partners, and field teams to secure the enterprise market and build a better Internet. This role requires you to be based in the sales territory in the following cities: Houston, Dallas OR Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct B2B selling experience, specifically selling to large enterprise / named accounts ($1B+ annual revenue).
  • 5+ years of direct sales management experience leading an enterprise field sales team.
  • Thorough and deep understanding and knowledge of IaaS, cloud technologies, computer networking, and/or security products or services.
  • Extensive experience managing longer, complex enterprise sales cycles alongside cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong aptitude for learning technical concepts and terminology, including familiarity with modern automated workflows, AI-driven pipelines, or data-informed decision-making tools.
  • Proven experience selling into $1B+ Financial Services, Retail, Industrial, Energy, Media, and other major sectors.
  • Strong leadership, presentation, interpersonal communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills, with a comfort level working in a fast-paced, dynamically evolving technological environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) is a plus.
  • Experience presenting or representing an enterprise technology brand at external conferences, media, and PR events.

Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales growth through successful leadership, organizational planning, and outstanding execution of all regional go-to-market strategies.
  • Direct and scale regional cross-functional programs across sales, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support, and field marketing.
  • Serve as the local point person for all functions regarding executive relationships, key partnerships, and account management.
  • Grow and build the Southwest enterprise team, driving local hiring needs by working with global functional leadership and recruiting resources.
  • Design, build, and execute regional go-to-market strategies in collaboration with regional and global functional leaders.
  • Represent Cloudflare as the single point of contact for all Regional operational concerns, ensuring proper and timely escalation and resolution.
  • Optimize the regional business cadence—including forecast calls, functional review meetings, deal reviews, and customer account reviews—by leveraging automated review pipelines and internal automated data layers to eliminate manual task overhead.
