About The Position

The Sales Director is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding strategic accounts within Jabil Healthcare, with a strong focus on all Pharmaceutical Solutions, Contract Development & Manufacturing (CDMO) services, Drug Delivery Device Manufacturing services, and Packaging. This role leads highly consultative, enterprise-level sales engagements involving complex, multi‑stakeholder, value‑based decision-making. The Sales Director builds trusted executive-level relationships, positions Jabil as a preferred long‑term manufacturing partner, and delivers end‑to‑end CDMO solutions from concept through commercial launch, with an emphasis on aseptic manufacturing and oral solid dose capabilities. The role partners closely with Business Unit, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams to shape customer solutions, land new programs, and ensure long-term customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in healthcare contract manufacturing and/or CDMO services across pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device markets, with established relationships at the executive level within pharma, biotech, and medical device organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience selling aseptic manufacturing, fill/finish, oral solid dose, analytical, stability, and packaging services.
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated, lifecycle‑focused CDMO solutions from early development through commercial scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute a sales strategy aligned with Jabil Healthcare’s Pharma Solutions Business Unit and expanded CDMO capabilities.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customers and strategic opportunities across Pharma Solutions, including injectables, combination products, and oral solid dose manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain trusted, executive-level customer relationships and serve as the primary commercial interface.
  • Lead a consultative selling approach centered on value creation, technical differentiation, and lifecycle support.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify target customers, shape pursuit strategy, and successfully win new business.
  • Maintain accountability for customer satisfaction, long‑term engagement, and program success.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the Jabil selling process, from prospecting and qualification through solution development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales and Business Unit leadership on sales strategy execution, pipeline health, and customer engagement.
  • Own and maintain a disciplined, high‑quality Salesforce pipeline supporting annual revenue and bookings targets.
  • Deliver annual bookings goals through acquisition and expansion of strategic CDMO customers.
  • Prepare revenue, bookings, and expense forecasts as required.
  • Ensure financial rigor across all pursuits, with a focus on profitability, capital efficiency, and return on net assets.
  • Lead customer and product penetration strategies for new and existing Pharma Solutions customers in partnership with Business Unit leadership and Engineering & Technology teams.
  • Promote Jabil’s global manufacturing footprint, vertically integrated supply chain, and CDMO capabilities, including: Drug formulation development, Primary container and device integration support, Device design and development, Aseptic fill and finish (vials, syringes, cartridges, combination products), Oral solid dose manufacturing, Device manufacturing (molding and assembly), Primary and secondary packaging.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable manufacturing solutions by collaborating closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Lead development and presentation of RFQs, commercial proposals, and executive-level customer presentations.
  • Ensure pricing and commercial structures meet Jabil’s financial and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate commercial negotiations and contract development for new customers and programs.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support growth objectives.
