About The Position

Sales Director - AmeriBen Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered. The Sales Director - AmeriBen will be responsible for acting as a key member of the sales team to achieve annual sales goals and profitability goals and generate sales leads and requests for proposals (RFPs) through brokers and consultants. How you will make an impact: Acts as a key member of the sales team to achieve annual sales goals and profitability goals. Assists the RFP team with high-level strategy regarding key RFP opportunities and prepares and presents at finalist presentations. Develops and maintains partnerships with clients, brokers, and consultants. Regularly travels to meet with brokers, consultants, and prospective clients. Assists with establishing fees and profitability of prospects. Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with key network partners and point solution partners as well as interfaces with key vendors on behalf of AmeriBen, clients, and brokers. Cross-sells other services to self-funded groups including Anthem stop loss, CarelonRx, and AmeriBen products that increase profitable revenue. Provides subject matter expertise on large group self-funding. Partners with account management to ensure successful implementation of new business and renewal of existing business. Maintains client and consultant relationships to retain clients year over year. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS and 7 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license and appointment required as governed by state law. Sales license and appointment required upon hire or is required to be obtained and appointed within sixty (60) days of hire. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Ability to travel between 30-50% highly preferred Prior experience working with Local Sales team highly preferred Experience working with AmeriBen is highly preferred. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $118,560 to $195,624 Locations: Colorado, Columbus, OH, Illinois, Minnesota In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Requirements
