About The Position

We're looking for a strategic seller with deep programmatic expertise and a passion for driving innovation in ad tech to join us as a Sales Director and help shape the future of FreeWheel's demand-side platform, Buyer Cloud (formerly Beeswax). In this high-impact role, you'll lead revenue growth by cultivating relationships with top agency holding companies and brand-direct clients. You'll be at the forefront of expanding adoption of Buyer Cloud, leveraging your consultative sales skills to unlock new opportunities and grow existing accounts. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role that partners closely with other Freewheel teams such as Global Agency Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Account Management to deliver exceptional client experiences and refine our go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • A seasoned sales leader with 7-10 years of DSP sales experience and a strong understanding of the agency ecosystem.
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of client success.
  • A strategic thinker with a consultative approach and a track record of exceeding revenue targets.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with Publicis, Horizon, or WPP are highly preferred.

  • Drive Growth: Win new advertisers and campaigns across agency and brand-direct segments, while expanding existing relationships.
  • Build Influence: Develop trusted partnerships with senior account stakeholders at major agency holding companies.
  • Showcase Innovation: Present the value of Buyer Cloud through expert product knowledge and tailored, custom solutions.
  • Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and surpass revenue goals through strategic selling and client-first thinking.
  • Lead Strategically: Respond to RFPs and agency opportunities with precision, crafting winning strategies.
  • Be a Product Expert: Master the FreeWheel portfolio, including Buyer Cloud and our broader programmatic software suite.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams across marketing, product, account management, finance, and legal.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in programmatic and digital media.
